Temperature change with the highest degree of control accuracy

Rapid and accurate temperature change in ramp mode: Due to the finely tuned control technology, temperatures in the Memmert cooled incubator ICP reach the setpoint value exactly, without any control fluctuations. A multifunctional fuzzy controller (P class), with permanent performance adjustments and integrated self-diagnosis system, as well as two high-quality platinum temperature sensors Pt100, ensure absolutely reliable temperature control and the highest process safety and control accuracy in biotechnology, biology and medicine.

  • Temperature range 0 °C to 60 °C (model size 400-500) with a display and setting accuracy of 0.1 °C
  • Temperature range -12 °C to +60 °C (model size 600-800) with a display and setting accuracy of 0.1 °C
  • Multiple overtemperature protection: An adjustable over/under temperature controller TWW protection class 3.3 (optional adjustable electronic temperature limiter TWB protection class 2) takes over control in case of failure  at a preset temperature. ASF Automatic Safety Function - a unique safety function - for over- and undertemperature automatically following the setpoint in a freely selectable tolerance range. An alarm sound is activated in case of over- /undertemperature, and the heating function is switched off in case of overtemperature, cooling function is switched off in case of undertemperature. In addition a mechanical temperature limiter, TB, switches off heating permanently if the maximum permitted oven temperature is exceeded by approx. 10 °C.
  • 2 high-grade platinum temperature sensors Pt 100 in a 4-wire circuit (for stable long-term transmission of measurement signals) communicate with each other and ensure uninterrupted error-free temperature control at constant working temperature
  • Digital programme control (programmable to the minute) for temperature profiles consisting of up to 40 ramps
  • Weekly timer programmable to the minute
  • Speed of fan can be controlled at 10% intervals from 10% to 100%
  • Simultaneous display of all parameters, such as temperature, weekday, time, fan speed and number of ramp
  • Visual and acoustic alarm in case of over-/undertemperature
  • Alphanumeric text display in different languages (D/UK/E/F/I)
  • Function signals for stand-by, operating mode, heating and over/undertemperature
  • Internal log memory with 1024kB to save temperature and error states, with timestamp to the minute
  • Chip card control including 1 MEMoryCard XL with 32 kB memory capacity (max. 40 ramps)
  • Serial USB-interface and software Celsius to read out the appliance's internal log memory
  • Parallel printer interface for printout of log data via an external PCL3-compatible inkjet printer (USB available via converter)
