Sustainability has always been a part of Memmert's company philosophy. Even long before it was a legal obligation, all old equipment was taken back on request and recycled to a large extent. Daily environmental protection out of conviction:

• The use of recyclable stainless steel
• As little use as possible of compound materials
• Meeting the requirements of the EU Directives 2002/95/EC (RoHS) and 2002/96/EC (WEEE), as one of the first in the branch to do so
• Separated collection and recycling as far as possible of waste and residues from the production process
• The use of materials that are as environmentally-friendly as possible in production, e.g. lead-free soldering
