- Temperature progress and monitoring devices
For applications in science, research and industry that have to meet high standards of thermal safety, the Excellent class is recommended for use with the Universal Oven U, extensively equipped for programming and documentation. A multifunctional fuzzy controller, with permanent performance adjustments and integrated self-diagnosis system, as well as two high-quality platinum temperature sensors Pt100, ensure absolutely reliable temperature control and the highest process safety and control accuracy in the universal Memmert ovens.
- Temperature range: 30 °C (at least 5°C or 10°C above ambient) to 250 °C
- Temperature variation (time): < ±0.25 °C at 150 °C
- Triple overtemperature protection: If the electronic heating control should fail, heating is switched off at a fixed level of 10 °C above the setpoint. An adjustable overtemperature controller TWW protection class 3.1 (optional adjustable electronic temperature limiter TWB protection class 2) takes over control at a preset temperature in case of failure. In addition a mechanical temperature limiter, TB, switches off heating permanently if the maximum permitted oven temperature is exceeded by approx. 10 °C.
- 2 high-grade platinum temperature sensors Pt 100 in a 4-wire circuit (for stable long-term transmission of measurement signals) with mutual sensor monitoring and operation transfer at same working temperature
- Programmable digital timer (1 min. to 999 hrs) and weekly programmer for temperature control profile with a maximum of 4 segments: Switch on with time delay, heat up, hold set temperature (dependent on setpoint, if required) and defined cooling down
