Perfectly tuned control technology guarantees ideal physiological conditions in the Memmert CO2 incubator INCO for cell cultures and tissue cultures growing in-vitro, and the active humidity control ensures short recovery times after the door has been opened. A multifunctional fuzzy controller (P class), with permanent performance adjustments and integrated self-diagnosis system, as well as two high-quality platinum temperature sensors Pt100, ensure absolutely reliable temperature control and the highest process safety and control accuracy in biotechnology, biology and medicine.
- Temperature range 20 °C (at least 8 °C above ambient) to 50 °C with a display accuracy of 0.1 °C
- Digital CO2 controller with precise infrared absorption measurement system (NDIR) with automatic zeroing

- Automatic sterilisation program via the Memmert STERICard for 4 hours at 160 °C. All sensors and fittings can remain installed during sterilisation
- Multiple overtemperature protection: An adjustable overtemperature controller TWW protection class 3.1 takes over control in case of failure at a preset temperature. ASF Automatic Safety Function - a unique safety function - for over- and undertemperature automatically following the setpoint in a freely selectable tolerance range. An alarm sound is activated in case of over- /undertemperature, and the heating is switched off in case of overtemperature. In addition a mechanical temperature limiter, TB, switches off heating permanently if the maximum permitted oven temperature is exceeded by approx. 10 °C.

Incubator
The Memmert incubator I is ideally suited for incubation with temperatures up to 70 °C - specifically for the in-vitro incubation of cell cultures, tissue cultures and bacteria cultures at 37 °C.
Sterility in Biology and biotechnology
The STERICard guarantees safe and fully automatic sterilisation (and not only disinfection) of the interior. During sterilisation, menu operation of the Memmert CO" Incubator is suspended, so that no reprogramming by accident is possible.
