SPECTARIS convened at Memmert

With an export share of some 60 %, companies in the optical, medical and mechatronic industries are far above the German average. Without in-depth knowledge of foreign trade issues, successful export is not possible. Therefore, the chance to exchange views and information on the most recent rules and regulations on a national and international level is eagerly accepted by the members of the German Hightech Industry Association SPECTARIS.

Hans-Jürgen Bolien from the company Heidenhain GmbH, chairman of the working group, welcomed 35 participants to the 2-day-meeting in the conference rooms of our Schwabach headquarters. Besides lectures on the most recent developments in customs regulations and export controls, particularly discussions of experiences and everyday practicalities were at the top of the agenda. Before setting off for home, the participants were given a 1-hour tour of the factory in Büchenbach.
