For many years now, Memmert has been supporting the SOS Kinderdorf project with a Christmas donation. In 2008, 40,000 € went to the SOS vocational training centre in Nuremberg, financing the 3rd year of training for two young men.

The 16.000 € that Memmert had donated for the Pakistan flood victims have reached the devastated people there without deductions or detours. One of our distributors for Pakistan, Rays Technologies, who had received one half of this amount, had added another 4.500 € himself.

Process validation for a Memmert hot-air steriliser is no problem at all. As an example, we have commissioned an accredited testing laboratory to perform a process validation for our SNE 200 and SFP 500 appliances. In the Chinese year of the tiger Memmert has opened its first branch sales office. Red was the unifying element of the colourful ceremony with which the era of Memmert Shanghai (Trading) Co. Ltd. in China began on 11th of September 2010 in the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum.

To support the flood victims, Memmert donates 8000 € each to two distributors in Pakistan. We would kindly ask you to make a contribution as well to provide relief for the suffering people there.

All children should have equal opportunities to receive an education, irrespective of the income of their parents. This is why it is taken for granted in many countries that attending school and school books should be free of charge. The German Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg has even written this into its constitution.

On July 29th, 2010, Memmert officially began operating the most modern punching and bending line in Europe at its Büchenbach factory. With a total of 3 million Euros, this is at the same time one of the largest investments in the company’s history.

During the festive presentation of the new punching and bending line, Memmert’s own football ground was opened on July29th, 2010 in Büchenbach. Two Memmert teams, comprising a diverse mix of office workers and technicians, parted after two twenty-minute halves, with a 7:4 victory for the team in green.

Georg Salbaum, at Memmert since 1964 and most recently in the dispatch department, began his retirement after 46 years at work. If you wanted to have a chat with Georg Salbaum on July 29th, 2010, you almost had to queue up.


On Wednesday, July 21st, 2010, an Egyptian delegation stopped over at Memmert on the invitation of Bayern International. Under the motto “Fit for Partnership”, the Bavarian Ministry of Economics has since 2004 been inviting international specialists and managers to Bavaria.
