Sports at Memmert

In Croatia, at TriStar 111 in Split in Croatia, Matthias Grosser won with a huge lead in his age group (M25) and finished 6th in the overall ranking.

With a humorous challenge, our business partner Mangelberger threw down the sports gauntlet to our football team. However, it's just like German football idol Adi Preißler from Dortmund said: “All theory is grey –results can only be found on the field”.

On August 14, 2011, Memmert employee Matthias Grosser finished 15th of 663 starters in his age group 25-29 at IRONMAN 70.3 in Wiesbaden, Germany. Quite an achievement given the fact that his last long-distance triathlon was just 4 weeks ago.

If you have never experienced the atmosphere in Roth, you should take the opportunity and get carried along by the wave of cheering and enthusiasm of hundreds of thousands of people, while cheering for our athletes....

Our triathlon team is looking forward to the strong support of their fans at the Rothsee Triathlon on 26th June 2011 and at the Challenge Roth on 10th July. During the festive presentation of the new punching and bending line, Memmert’s own football ground was opened on July29th, 2010 in Büchenbach. Two Memmert teams, comprising a diverse mix of office workers and technicians, parted after two twenty-minute halves, with a 7:4 victory for the team in green.

From 16th to 18th of July the Memmert Executive Meeting “MIP meet the challenge” took place. Interesting workshops, fun and good food in the beergarden als well as the live-atmosphere of the Challenge Roth Triathlon left many guests with moments to remember.

Men dream of winning, and woman dream about children’s names. Five Memmertians used quite different strategies to fight their inner struggles on Sunday, 12th July 2009 at the Quelle Challenge in Roth. A great atmosphere, optimal weather conditions and best times from the world elite again ensured an unforgettable experience.

The Finn Bennie Lindberg, a former world class triathlete, today a gigathlete, trainer and author, supervises the Memmert employees where matters of fitness, sport and health are involved. He accompanied the team to New Zealand as coach and motivator. This is his report about self-discipline, feelings of euphoria and courage.
