The result: a custom-built UF260plus from the m360 team – equipped with five individually controllable flaps, designed for fully automated loading and unloading.
The customer from the biotechnology industry needed a heating oven that could be fully integrated into an automated production line. The goal was to dry components without manual intervention while improving quality, ergonomics, and process safety.
Instead of the standard door, the customer requested five individually controllable flaps for targeted loading and unloading. In addition, the oven had to communicate with the customer’s PLC and provide real-time process data such as temperature, humidity, and alarms.
Based on the UF260plus model, the m360 special construction team developed a tailored solution:
Development was carried out in close collaboration with the customer. Over a three-month period, multiple team meetings and 3D model exchanges ensured that every detail was precisely adapted to the customer’s requirements and the specific robot system.
The completed oven enables fully automated loading, drying, and unloading of workpieces – without any manual handling. Key benefits include:
With this custom build, the m360 team once again demonstrated Memmert’s ability to respond flexibly and precisely to unique customer requirements. Through close collaboration among all parties, a solution was created in a short timeframe that integrates perfectly into the automated production process, sustainably improving quality, safety, and efficiency.
Special thanks go to WIESER Automation – Maschinenbau GmbH, who acted as the customer’s integrator for the automation and contributed significantly to the success of this project.
